A Swiss national, Mr. Ziegler has been active in standardization, conformity assessment and certification in Asia for more than 14 years. Mr. Ziegler is a registered training management consultant and a registered lead auditor and certifier for quality and environmental management in Australia, UK and Germany.

In 2006, Mr. Ziegler was appointed ‘Seconded European Standardization Expert to China’ by the European standardization organizations CEN, CENELEC and ETSI and by the European Commission and EFTA. As such, he is mandated to foster cooperation between Europe and China in standardization and to support the European industry with standard related issues of market access to China.

Mr. Ziegler speaks German and English.

A Swiss and Taiwan national, Mrs. Hueyling has more than 10 years’ working experience in sales & marketing for medical companies such as J&J, ABBOTT and Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co. Mrs. Hueyling also spent 7 years managing human resources in the franchise education systems’ market in Taiwan.

Mrs. Ming speaks English, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.

A German/Thai national, Mr. Pranich has rich experience in international testing, certification, standardization, conformity assessment in Asia and Europe for electrical and mechanical products. He has been operating international testing and certification laboratories for more than 20 years, as well as production settlement and management in industry for more than 8 years.

Mr. Pranich operates as a technical certifier and technical expert for European and International testing and certification for GS mark, CB and the majority of European and International certifications schemes for electrical, electromechanical and mechanical products.

Mr. Pranich speaks fluent German, English and Thai.

A Chinese national, Mrs. Yao obtained a BSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of Air force Engineering of China and a MSc with merits in Engineering Research at the University of Reading, UK. Mrs. Yao then provided her know-how as an editor for teaching materials in a publishing house under the MIIT for 3 years and as an engineer on integrated circuit design.

Mrs. Xiaojing has been assisting the Seconded European Standardization Expert for China (SESEC) project since 2006; as such she is responsible for all logistical aspects of the project and has in-depth knowledge of Chinese organizations, ministries and institutions related to standardization and conformity assessment.

Mrs. Yao speaks Mandarin Chinese and English.

Before joining Quality Partnerships, Mr. Sun has spent more than 20 years working with Chinese Certification and licensing schemes.

After his engineering studies at the Tianjin University of Technology, Mr. Sun has spent over two decades honing his technical mastery from design to production, quality insurance, after-sales service, product design, supervision of electromagnetic compatibility and certification of products for major Chinese electro-technical companies, on the behalf of which he has also contributed to the drafting of technical documents and standards.

Mr. Sun speaks Mandarin Chinese and English.

A General Manager at Innovation Space and a Senior IPR, Conformity Assessment and Standards Expert for the European Union, the European Patent Office and the Qinghua University, Mrs. Gerst has been providing her expertise as senior consultant for leading international companies in supply chain and content management for more than 10 years. She began working in European projects related to China in 2003 before moving to Beijing.

Mrs. Gerst obtained her Doctorate degree at the University of Edinburgh, with which she continues to collaborate as Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Science, Technology and Innovation.

Martina is certified as Quality Manager by TUEV Sued and certified as Project Manager by USA’s Project Management Institute (PMI).

Mrs. Gerst speaks German, French, English and Mandarin Chinese.

A Chinese national, Mrs. Zhao has spent more than thirty years working in the healthcare sector and certification. After providing her skills to the Chinese Ministry of Health for more than 15 years, she became responsible for market strategy planning at the International Medical Center of Beijing, before accessing various high positions in highly ranked Beijing-based private pharmaceutical companies. Since 2006 Mrs. Zhao also offers advisory services to companies in the health and pharmaceutical sectors in China.

Mrs. Zhao speaks English and Chinese Mandarin.

More than 12 years having been involved in the field of testing and certification, Ms. Jacqueline Qu gained a lot of experience in her daily work negotiating with the potential clients and providing inspection proposals and contracts.  Having formerly coordinated inspection projects and in performing internal audits, she brings in sound knowledge for her position as Project Coordinator within Quality Partnerships.  Jacqueline Qu supports the operational procedures, client management processes and quality control systems and thereby actively contributes to the further development of the company.  Ms. Qu is a Chinese national with Mandarin Chinese as her mother-tongue and excellent English language skills.

Ms Tognotti, settled in Beijing since 2005, reached an in-depth understanding of IPR law and regimes both in Europe and China while working for an Intellectual Property law firm.  In this management position she was responsible for client relations and the supervision of a Chinese lawyer team.   Before joining Quality Partnerships Ms Tognotti supported the co-ordination of several EU-China activities through a European IPR project.   Holding a Master in Oriental Languages and Civilizations she has, in addition, followed training from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Academy on IPR.

Ms. Tognotti speaks Italian, English and Chinese Mandarin.

Ms Malz held different positions as Administrator and Office Manager for several lobbying associations and consultancies in the heart of Europe, Brussels, before she decided to move to China in 2008. In Beijing Ms Malz was giving specialized German Business Communication courses and training for Executive Assistants at the German Chamber of Commerce. She is also a certified examiner for TELC – German language certificate. Working with various multinational teams Ms Malz gained extensive experience in office and event management. At Quality Partnerships Ms Malz is mainly responsible for the office management and accountancy as well as contributes to the technical support and translation issues as she speaks German, English, French, Dutch, Danish and some Mandarin Chinese.
