Based on information published on CNIS web-site and with reference to the limits set in the standard GB 21456-2008, CNIS’s Energy Label Administration Center has now clarified that, starting from 1 September 2012, they will no longer accept registrations for Household Induction Cookers with energy efficiency grades 4 and 5; at the same time, the power consumption limit for the holding state of Induction Cookers is set to 2W.

Based on conversation with senior officials from the Energy Label Administration Center, starting from the same date,  Household Induction Cookers with energy efficiency grades 4 and 5 will not be allowed to be produced in China and  similar overseas products with grades 4 and 5 will not be able to be placed on the Chinese market anymore.
