  • Most mechanical products are not subject to CCC certification requirements but as exceptions are frequent, case-by case confirmation should be sought. For general reference, please take a look at the CCC Catalogue.
  • Mechanical products sometimes require the license for ‘Special Equipment’.
  • Certain individual electrical components of mechanical products might need CCC certification if introduced into the country as spare parts.
  • CCC is required for agricultural machinery (e.g. carried on the back of people; tractors), as per category 15 of the CCC Catalogue.
  • CCC is not required for handheld pneumatic tools.
  • Heavy polluting equipment (e.g. heavy-duty vehicles) may need to obtain a type-approval for environment protection.
